For the last several months, I've been a member of the website Bzz Agent. Basically it's a social media company that sends out products to try out in order to get regular people talking about those items through face to face contact and social media outlets like on Facebook. Spreading the bzz so to speak.
I had heard good things about it on various blogs and my sister had mentioned it so I signed up. Not much happened at first. I answered all of the short surveys that were available and that got a few MyPoints in the process. A little time had passed and I had almost forgot about it when I got an email that I was invited to my first Bzz campaign. It was for Children's Claritin. Something I could easily use with 3 kids in the spring. They sent me a pack of the Claritin, and a little stack of coupons to hand out. I'm a crazy coupon lady so I was pretty happy about that. I knew that I could use them and if I couldn't I could share them with a local coupon group that I'm in. I tried it, I wrote a review, and I submit a few "Bzz reports" about interactions I had with others talking about Claritin. Doing those few things raised my "bzz score" and it wasn't long before I was invited to my next campaign for Dr Scholls for her gel inserts.

They sent me a pair of inserts and more coupons! I repeat the things I did before. I submit reviews and reports. Soon I was invited to my third and favorite campaign so far for Kuerig brew over ice drinks. I'm always happy to get a few free K-Cups because the things aren't exactly cheap. I expected them to just send a few cups to sample so I was delighted when this package came in the mail.
They sent me 12 K-cups, some great coupons, and a reusable hard plastic cold cup with reusable straw. It was so fun opening that box and seeing all those goodies. I tried them out, shared with my family to try out, and submit my honest reports and reviews.
Today I got invited to a campaign to test out Luster Premium White, a tooth whitening system. This retails on the Luster website for $44.99. I'll be getting it for free just for sharing my opinion on it with others and submitting reviews.
I haven't blogged about Bzz Agent in the past because it wasn't exactly beauty related but since I was invited to the tooth whitening campaign today I thought it was a little more relevant now, plus who doesn't like getting free crap? If you have the time to answer a few questions and are comfortable talking to people about the products you try I think Bzz Agent is worth the time and effort. Just stick with it, be honest, and take the time to submit reports and you'll start getting some great campaign invites.
